How It all Started

Mighty Mo Stump Grinding grew out of a simple conversation between nephew and uncle. I'm Isaiah Schelhaas, and my uncle, Tyler Schelhaas, and I both saw the same thing: a gap in the Yankton area for reliable, affordable stump removal done by people who care about the work they put out.

Tyler brought the hustle and know-how, I brought the drive to build something of our own, and together we invested in a Barreto stump grinder and got to work. No middlemen, no big corporate crew, just two hardworking guys from the Midwest who take pride in leaving your yard cleaner than we found it.

We named it Mighty Mo after the Missouri River that runs right through our backyard. It felt right, something powerful, something local, something that's been here all along.
